About Fusion Medical
Fusion Medical Limited was established in 2006 by two NHS emergency ambulance staff to pass on their skills in a bid to save more lives within the community. With over 10 years experience in teaching First Aid, 8 years experience as a State Registered Paramedic and 5 years experience as a Hospital Resuscitation Officer, the company is in a good position to raise the bar in the standard of First Aid being trained to the public. Not content with their vast medical experience, both theoretical and practical, the company called upon the help of other healthcare professionals allied to medicine to further bond the professional integrity of the company. Now, with the expertise of Hospital Resuscitation Officers, Paramedics, Nurses and a variety of specialist Doctors, Fusion Medical are unrivalled in the First Aid industry.
Fusion Medical are proud to provide instructors with a background of hands on care to patients, this usually takes the form of NHS experience within both hospitals and pre-hospital environments. This enables the Instructor to teach what they have dealt with in reality and not just what they have extracted from a text book. This experience is essential for the candidates and has been proven to enhance their learning experience. After all, who would you want telling you what to do in an emergency, a professional or another First Aider?
Fusion Medical believes that quality training does not have to be expensive. With prices up to 25% less than other leading training providers, there is really no reason to gain essential skills anywhere else. All of the prices are inclusive of student literature where applicable and the only thing added is VAT which still works out cheaper than most companies' prices before tax!
As well as students coming to one of Fusion Medical's venues, we specialise in conducting the course at the client's workplace. This allows for candidates to be familiar with the environment and allows for better learning. Everything is supplied from projectors to pens; all that is requested is some electricity and light, although Fusion have been known to provide that too.
Once the training is complete, that is not the last you have heard from Fusion Medical until the next training is due. If the unthinkable were to happen, Fusion Medical offers a de-briefing of any incident as a form of reassurance for the First Aider, who is often forgotten. This is at no extra cost, just part of the service.
Fusion Medical believe that the company ethos and attitude is reflected within its mission statement:
“Providing life-saving learning based on professional medical research and experiences, allowing us to lead the way in medical training and not simply follow the crowd.
Questioning the conventional and looking beyond text books to inspire and educate.”
