Fusion Medical Ltd offer private ambulance transportation, whether to or from hospital appointments, transfers between care homes, hospital to hospital transfers or travel from airports to hospital, we can accommodate your needs. We are fully insured and qualified to travel in emergency conditions if the need arises.

Our vehicles, both full size ambulances and smaller 4x4 style units, are fully kitted with the most up-to-date medical equipment, and unlike many other organisations, we have staff competent and confident in its use. All of our crews will be experienced to meet the medical needs of the patient, as detailed below.

Medic

A person who holds qualifications from a current certificate of First-Aid competency issued by an HSE approved company (Fusion First Aid Training) to a member of the NHS Ambulance Service, who holds a current certificate of proficiency in Ambulance Aid, issued by the IHCD. Each medic has vast experience in pre-hospital emergency medicine and is competent in the use of AED (Automated External Defibrillators).

Qualified Nurse

A nurse whose name is entered in the relevant part of the professional register maintained by the UK Central Council for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting. The qualified Nurse has recent experience and knowledge in dealing with emergencies in the pre-hospital or accident and emergency environment (within two years).

State Registered Paramedic

A member of an NHS Ambulance Service who holds a current certificate of proficiency in paramedical skills, issued by the IHCD and registered by the hpc. They have immediate access to the appropriate level of specialist equipment, including drug therapy. All Paramedics have over three years experience in the pre-hospital environment.
