Description:

An Appointed Person is an employee who is trained to deal with First Aid incidents in their place of work. Their role is to summon help in the event of an incident and to give assistance to a casualty until the arrival of the trained workplace first aider.

An Appointed Person is not instead of, but in addition to a First Aid at Work qualified person. Unlike the standard 4 hours, this 1 Day course includes many First Aid skills including Resuscitation and Control of Bleeding, at the same price.

The qualification gained is valid for 3 years.
